Responsibilities and Qualifications

Summary:

 

The Tri-anim Health Services (THS) Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing clearly defined marketing and communication strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance brand equity for products within Sarnova’s core Acute business units, as well as adjacent markets. This position requires an individual with strong brand management capabilities, as well as an entrepreneurial mindset.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • P&L Management:  Forecast, track and adjust profit and loss statements to ensure that new product and/or channel launches meet financial goals.  Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Accounting, and Operations to ensure the accurate tracking and management of revenue, COGS, and marketing spend.
  • Brand Management:  Utilize sales data, market data, pricing strategies, customer segmentation and competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities and markets to support the expansion of new products and channels that drive new revenue streams and build brand equity. Direct and develop all tactics and activities that support brand development and growth.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop, present and implement portfolio business plans for specific and multiple product lines and market channels including management of pricing, supplier relationships, go-to-market strategies, and product positioning. Create, execute and manage THS marketing programs and materials to include company catalogs, online initiatives, advertising, sales force support materials, trade show marketing efforts, and supplier marketing programs.
  • Communication: Develop and manage messaging strategies for new products and channels. Drive messaging integration by collaborating with Marketing and Sales to instill a passion for product.  Establish and own the relationship with product manufacturer.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.  MBA strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of five years marketing experience in positions with direct brand management responsibility.
  • Experience in a value-added distribution industry, business-to-business selling environment, or the health care products industry desired. 

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated experience with product/category management, positioning, customer segmentation, pricing and communication strategies.
  • Understanding of new product launch processes and/or rebranding coupled with an innovative, entrepreneurial mind set.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to plan and forecast on a national level and by product category.
  • Advance planning capabilities including exceptional financial and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with and directing creative strategies and tactics.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to collaborate, influence and communicate at all levels.
  • Sound project management skills with a detail orientation.
  • Experience working with contracts from creating and redlining to negotiating and finalizing through interfacing with customers, manufacturers and Legal.
  • Demonstrated positive energy to effectively represent products/brands internally and externally.
  • Ability to pull together and analyze data to articulate trends and provide insights that drive the business.
  • Experience with effective supplier relationship management.
  • Computer literacy:  Microsoft Office Suite and CRM.
