The Marketing Program Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining customer and sales programs to drive Sarnova product revenue. The Marketing Program Manager will also assist in the development of clearly defined marketing and communication strategies that drive growth in strategic product categories.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for management and compliance of Tri-anim Rewards Program, Demo Process, Committed-Use Programs as well as development and maintenance of Capital Budgets and Committed-Use Budgets.
Assist in coordinating a monthly sales/marketing call for each Sarnova business unit in conjunction with product management directors, product marketing, training, and sales management for the visibility of product direction and sales interaction.
Develop, present and implement portfolio business plans for specifically assigned vendors.
Coordinate, execute and manage marketing programs to enhance the organization’s presence and status in the market and with key vendors.
Perform market research to uncover customer requirements.
Work with Supplier Partners to develop cross-promotional activities.
Contribute to sales rep training programs with program and product training.
Monitor the marketplace and competition, perform market and competitive analysis, and adjust marketing plans and initiatives accordingly.
Assist in the development and managing marketing department budget process.
Assist in developing strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of assigned vendors.
Manage and assist in the development of the 30/60/90 targets and key initiatives of the marketing group.
Work with product management and marketing communications to develop resources for program sales kits and promotional campaigns.
Work with the training team to deliver sales and product training for programs utilization.
Successfully manage internal and external customer expectations as well as provide metrics of progress.
Develop marketing programs, deliver progress updates and modify strategies to conform to budgetary constraints in concert with senior management.
Conduct regular meetings to present progress reports and analysis of results.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
4+ years marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility.
Preferred experience in a value-added distribution industry, business-to-business selling environment, or the health products industry desired.
Solid communication skills, including the ability to influence and communicate at all levels.
Strong project management skills and experience with managing large, complex projects.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, vendors and end-user.
Technical skills including planning, marketing, business and market development, market research, and promotions/advertising as well as capacity for understanding multiple product lines and how they potentially complement one another.
Strong analytical skills (ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions).
Able to successfully work in a changing environment.
Strong negotiation skills.
Financial acumen including the ability to calculate ROI, forecast sales and commitment volumes.
Ability to effectively partner and work with multiple internal stakeholders including Sales (enablement and strategy), Legal (contracts), IT (software), Accounting (documentation) and Operations (rollout).
Organization, prioritization, and careful planning are required to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
Ability to work on several projects at once, while keeping on schedule and within budget.
