Responsibilities and Qualifications

Summary:

The Data Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for data entry, maintenance and standardization.  They work with Purchasing, Product Management and Sales to ensure item information, costs and pricing are accurate, complete and current. This role will also maintain GPO/IDN membership lists.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform prompt new item setups, discontinuations, and existing item maintenance
  • Manage vendor cost changes and item list and level pricing updates
  • Assist with pricing controls and audits
  • Identify and resolve data and pricing discrepancies
  • Maintain item and customer restrictions
  • Perform various monthly reporting and auditing exercises to ensure system accuracy
  • Maintain GPO/IDN membership lists through various mediums and ensure our internal records are updated appropriately
  • Work with Purchasing, Product Management and Sales on product information and data standards
  • Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent;  2-year or 4-year degree a plus


Skills/Experience Required:

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manipulate large data sets in Excel 
  • Adept at identifying opportunities for improvement and developing sustainable solutions 
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze, problem solve, and make business decisions
