    Responsibilities and Qualifications


    The Bids and Contracts Team is responsible for selecting, qualifying, responding and submitting bid opportunities and maintaining contracts for State and Local governmental agencies, Law Enforcement, K-12 Education, Fire, and EMS departments, as well as other alternative care markets.  The Pricing Analyst will complete the company’s response to bid and contract proposals specifically product selection, pricing, insurance requirements, bid surety, samples, etc. by designated deadlines.  Additionally, he/she completes contract renewals and works directly with Account Managers. 


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure bids are submitted timely and contractual requirements are fulfilled.
    • Review terms and conditions and act to mitigate any unfavorable requirements.
    • Complete item selection process to match customer product specifications.
    • Review quotation requests and price items within applicable department guidelines.
    • Finalize bid proposal documents and deliver through the applicable method.
    • Evaluate bid tabulations and market intelligence to maximize win rate and profitability.
    • Analyze pricing/profitability data and make recommendations for business decisions. Explain analyses and form conclusions.
    • Process bid renewals in order to maintain profitability in accordance with contractual terms.
    • Produce analysis/reporting and pricing/deal recommendations.
    • Complete special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.


    Qualifications/Experience Required:  

    • 1-3 years of experience in pricing, bids, analytics, or deal management.
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy while balancing deadlines.
    • Capacity to manipulate large data sets within Excel using vlookups, pivot tables, and formulas.
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
    • Aptitude for innovation and process improvement.
    • Must be able to work cross-functionally within an organization.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
