    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    Summary:

    The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading the company’s national EMS inside sales activities including strategy and corresponding tactics implementation, year over year revenue growth, profitability, and support and direction for up to 11 Inside Sales Representatives.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead execution of strategies and tactics that mobilize the national EMS and Acute-care Inside Sales team to achieve their annual sales and gross profit dollar quotas. In addition to traditional Business to Business sales tactics, the development and implementation of the following:
      • Phone Scripts
      • Questionnaires
      • Email Templates
      • Email Blasts
    • Direct and administer established sales processes and metrics for increased productivity, profitable revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales to develop Inside Sales quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives by product line.
    • Monitor and communicate to Inside Sales Representatives and the Leadership Team progress against Inside Sales objectives.  Make appropriate and timely decisions to ensure performance is tracking to or exceeding plans.
    • Collaborate with Vice President of Sales in administering the sales compensation plan and determining individual Inside Sales Representatives annual sales quotas/objectives.
    • Coordinate initiatives and tactics with other internal departments; i.e. field sales, marketing, pricing and contracts.
    • Develop and sustain relationships with key customers and suppliers to stay abreast of current and emerging customer needs.
    • Take an active role in developing direct reports through individual performance feedback, team meetings, stretch assignments, sales training and national sales meetings, as well as training related to:
      • Telephone Techniques
      • Identifying Customers’ Needs
      • Identifying Key Decision Makers
      • Overcoming Objections
      • Closing Techniques
      • Product Knowledge
    • Empower self and others through effective, collaborative relationships that accomplish sales objectives and create an open and supportive work environment.
    • Ensure sales team is equipped with the tools and resources to drive profitable revenue growth.
    • Is a participative member of the Sales Leadership team.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum five years sales experience with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quota within assigned territory.
    • Minimum three years Inside Sales management experience.
    • Managing sales teams in the medical industry is preferred.

    • Ability to plan and forecast sales on an individual and national level.
    • Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Impeccable interpersonal skills appropriate to audience and selling situation.
    • Strong negotiation skills with a record of favorable outcomes that are mutually advantageous to Company, supplier and customer.

    Supervises:

    • A team of Inside Sales Representatives.
