    Responsibilities and Qualifications



    User technical support on company supported computer applications and platforms. Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
    • Research questions using available information resources.
    • Advise user on appropriate action.
    • Follow standard IT service desk procedures.
    • Log all IT service desk interactions.
    • Administer IT service desk software.
    • Redirect problems to appropriate resource.
    • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
    • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions.
    • Prepare activity reports.
    • Stay current with system information, changes and updates.
    • Code invoices and other expenses and route to Accounting in a timely manner.

    Physical Requirements:


    • Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of parts and equipment.
    • Ability to continuously walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, or crawl.
    • Ability to continuously lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.


    • Academic or work experience with fundamental PC hardware and relevant software applications (anti-virus, Microsoft Office family, web-browsers, Windows OS).
    • Academic or work experience with local and wide area networks, subnets, default gateways, etc.
    • IT service desk ticket software utilizing Sysaid or other products of this kind.
