Responsibilities and Qualifications

Cardio Partners, a division of Sarnova, is a national leader in emergency prevention and an ardent advocate in the fight against Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Cardio Partners provides consultation, equipment and end-to-end training, offering a complete cardiac solution to customers. As an authorized master distributer of all FDA-approved defibrillator devices, the company provides customers the best-in-class value for new and recertified equipment. Customers’ emergency preparedness needs are met via Cardio Partners’ nationwide CPR training courses and state-of-the-art program management services.

 

Job Description:

The AED Sales Consultant is responsible for converting inbound AED inquiries for customers and maximizing the sale opportunity through needs-based selling, as well as outbound activities to drive sales results such as following up on open quotes, converting backorders and expiring parts/AED warranties, among others. The primary objective markets Cardio Partners products and services including AED’s, AED accessories, Program Management, and CPR Training Nationwide, while building a trusting relationship to encourage a lasting partnership and committed customer.  This position will understand customer needs, educate and influence using strong product and solution knowledge and the desire to live our vision of making it possible for anyone to save a life.

 

At Sarnova you are not just a number. What you do each day matters. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in increasing the survival rate of Sudden Cardiac Arrest. As a member of the AED Sales Team, you are the key to providing great customer service to our customers.

 

Position Expectations:

  • Enthusiastically receive all inbound AED inquiries from potential or existing customers. This includes understanding the reason the customer is calling, identifying sales opportunities, educate and influencing the customer to maximize the sales opportunity.
  • Conduct outbound sales activities to follow up on open leads, backorder conversion opportunities, or any other lead source provided.
  • Create value around our full suite of offerings to include products, solutions, and training to drive sales and increase loyalty and retention.
  • Listen carefully to the customer and be cognizant of barriers to the sale. Recognize when to drive the primary sales opportunity and follow up with additional opportunities as they arise.
  • Manage the sales process by thoroughly understanding decision makers, actions, and timelines necessary to close deals.
  • Closely collaborate with management on opportunities of all sizes, especially large opportunities that may present obstacles or other challenges.
  • Complete all administrative activities necessary to close the sale such as quote creation, managing tasks, order processing, payment processing, or follow up needs.
  • Utilize SalesForce/CRM to document in a timely and accurate manner to document all contact details, activities, follow up activities, and anything else requested by management.
  • Prepare and provide information for management such as sales opportunities, customer/prospect information, wins/losses, etc. as requested.
  • Develop and maintain expert-level product knowledge of AEDs, AED accessories, CPR/AED Training and regulations associated with AEDs.
  • Identify Industry trends and relevant competitive information, providing feedback and input to the company.
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer requirements and any other regulatory requirements.

 

Skills/Experience Required:

  • High School diploma, or equivalent required.
  • Impeccable interpersonal skills appropriate to the audience and selling situation.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a record of favorable outcomes that are mutually advantageous to the Company, supplier, and customer.
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, and excel.
  • Knowledge of AEDs, AED accessories, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and/or CPR/AED Training or life-saving products is preferred.
